125cc Motorcycle Training

Please note that NO bookings will be taken unless a Motorcycle Theory Test Certificate can be provided.

In order to take 125 training with Ace Moto Training you will need to have passed the following.

1. CBT 2. Motorcycle Theory Test.

April 27th 2009, saw the introduction of the new motorcycle test. This is a two module test. Module One will be conducted at the Multi Purpose Test Centres in Kings Lynn and Peterborough. Module Two will still be conducted in Boston. A Module One pass will be valid for the length of your motorcycle theory pass and must be completed prior to taking Module Two. All other licencing regulations remain the same.

Have a look at the official DSA channel on YouTube, this details all parts of the Module 1 Motorcycle test which includes the 'Dreaded' Hazard Avoidance Exercise......its not as scary as it sounds!

Not 21 or fancy riding the 500cc machines?

125 training is an alternative route to your motorcycle licence. When you pass your test on a 125cc machine your new licence will be restricted to 33bhp/25kw for the first 2 years. You can still ride any motorcycle, provided it is electronically or mechanically restricted to 33bhp/25kw. You are not stuck on a 125!!

So, that CBR600, GSXR600, FAZER, HORNET or BANDIT is not out of reach… but will be just a little slower at the top end, 0-60 should be as normal! On the 2nd anniversary of passing your test you automatically ‘Graduate’ to a full Cat A motorcycle licence, with no further test to be taken. You will then be able to legally remove that restrictor kit and enjoy the FULL power of your machine.!
